About the role

  • Lead teams in executing the company-wide people strategy across Leadership Development, Training, Succession, Performance, Engagement, and Diversity & Inclusion
  • Build and maintain a strong leadership pipeline through standardised global leadership programs
  • Streamline and transform induction and training to create a learner-focused growth mindset
  • Develop and implement talent and succession processes to ensure future organisational readiness
  • Drive the execution of strategies and initiatives to strengthen ALDI’s high-performance culture and streamline performance management
  • Lead employee listening programs to gather insights and drive meaningful improvements
  • Drive global diversity and inclusion efforts to foster an equitable and inclusive culture
  • Partner with senior leaders and local teams to align global strategies with regional needs

Requirements

  • Over 10 years of senior leadership experience driving Learning, Leadership, People, and Culture Development
  • Strategic expertise in designing and executing global leadership and talent strategies
  • Operational knowledge in retail or consumer-oriented industries
  • Proven track record of leading large-scale change and fostering a culture of continuous learning and accountability
  • Influential stakeholder management skills and partner with senior executives to co-create impactful solutions
  • Global mindset and cultural fluency
  • Exceptional leadership and coaching capabilities
  • Fluent in English; German and other languages are an advantage
