About the role
- Lead teams in executing the company-wide people strategy across Leadership Development, Training, Succession, Performance, Engagement, and Diversity & Inclusion
- Build and maintain a strong leadership pipeline through standardised global leadership programs
- Streamline and transform induction and training to create a learner-focused growth mindset
- Develop and implement talent and succession processes to ensure future organisational readiness
- Drive the execution of strategies and initiatives to strengthen ALDI’s high-performance culture and streamline performance management
- Lead employee listening programs to gather insights and drive meaningful improvements
- Drive global diversity and inclusion efforts to foster an equitable and inclusive culture
- Partner with senior leaders and local teams to align global strategies with regional needs
Requirements
- Over 10 years of senior leadership experience driving Learning, Leadership, People, and Culture Development
- Strategic expertise in designing and executing global leadership and talent strategies
- Operational knowledge in retail or consumer-oriented industries
- Proven track record of leading large-scale change and fostering a culture of continuous learning and accountability
- Influential stakeholder management skills and partner with senior executives to co-create impactful solutions
- Global mindset and cultural fluency
- Exceptional leadership and coaching capabilities
- Fluent in English; German and other languages are an advantage
