About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Leading the defect management function across multiple release streams
- Supporting post-go-live hypercare activities — gathering and analysing production incidents
- Collaborating with the Test Factory to improve test suites
- Defining and evolving defect management processes, severity definitions, and escalation procedures
- Governing defect management standards across all parties
- Providing training on correct defect handling methodology
- Driving continuous improvement in the defect management environment
- Representing defect management in cross-organisational steering committees
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5+ years of experience in defect management or quality assurance
- Excellent analytical skills and proven experience with root cause analysis methodologies
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Deep experience with defect tracking tools and ITSM platforms
- Good command of written and spoken English
- Nice-to-have: ISTQB Advanced Level certification
- Experience with ITIL v4 Problem Management and Continual Improvement practices
- Experience in ERP-centric environments (e.g. SAP S/4HANA)
- ITIL v4 practitioner: Problem Management, Change Enablement
- Agile/Scrum practitioner
