About the role
- Work within the newly established Global Business Services (GBS) team to facilitate ALDI’s organizational transformation and drive significant value creation for ALDI globally
- Support project management for medium to large transformation projects
- Provide relevant information and support for associated business cases, analyzing the financial implications for the organization
- Monitor vendor service delivery, ensuring compliance with established quality-assurance standards and reviewing performance against service level agreements (SLAs) and key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Manage risks, issues, and mitigation strategies related to service delivery to ensure smooth operations
- Monitor and report on KPIs related to SCM processes, ensuring alignment with operational goals
- Create compelling presentations for international management discussions and provide project updates and status reports to stakeholders
Requirements
- Degree in SCM/logistics, business administration, economics, or a related field
- 3+ years of professional experience in at least one area of SCM, project management, or controlling, preferably within an international consultancy
- Experience in project and risk management and in developing mitigation plans
- Proven vendor management skills, specifically monitoring service delivery and performance against SLAs and KPIs
- Self-motivated, enthusiastic, and able to work independently with a high degree of initiative
- Strong analytical skills with a high attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a multinational, cross-functional environment
- Advanced Excel skills are required; PowerPoint, Jira, and SNOW experience is advantageous
- Fluent in English; proficiency in German is a plus
- Willingness to travel internationally and to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment
