About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support development of topological quantum devices and associated read-out and control circuitry
- Perform device physics analysis and modeling, with emphasis on low-temperature and cryogenic behavior of quantum devices.
- Develop and execute TCAD simulations to model device structures, materials interactions, electrostatics, and quantum transport effects.
- Design device layouts and test structures to support fabrication, characterization, and process development activities.
- Define and execute electrical characterization plans, including DC, RF, and cryogenic measurements, to evaluate device performance and variability.
Requirements
What you’ll need- BS or MS in Physics, Applied Physics, Electrical Engineering, or related field
- 5+ years of relevant experience in semiconductor process or integration engineering
- Experience working in or supporting high-volume manufacturing or advanced development environments
- Exposure to quantum computing hardware, cryogenic / vacuum systems
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
