About the role

  • Design and develop lab frameworks to connect IoT endpoints to campus/branch networks
  • Test and certify hardware, software, and endpoint functionality
  • Identify communication scenarios between end devices and edge devices and develop/execute testing for data gathering, aggregation, and analytics
  • Configure and validate Cisco SDA, NAC, TrustSec, segmentation, and automation via Cisco DNA Center or equivalent platforms
  • Collaborate with network engineers, cross-functional teams, and senior management to align technical solutions with business needs
  • Ensure IoT network solutions meet enterprise-grade performance, scalability, and security standards
  • Produce technical documentation, test plans, and status reports for stakeholders

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in IoT platform engineering
  • 7+ years of experience in Network Routing (WAN Technologies)
  • CCIE Certification (required)
  • Primary Skill: Routing & Switching for IoT environments
  • Expertise in Cisco or equivalent vendor technologies related to SD-Access (SDA), 802.1x / Network Admission Control (NAC), and TrustSec
  • MUST HAVE US CITIZENSHIP OR GREEN CARD
  • MUST BE LOCAL TO THE NEW YORK CITY AREA
  • Proficient with Cisco IOS-XE products, Micro/Macro segmentation configurations, and Cisco DNA Center (DNAC) automation
  • Preferred: Experience with IoT device security and endpoint identity management
  • Preferred: Familiarity with cloud-based IoT management platforms
  • Preferred: Background in network automation and scripting (Python, Ansible, etc.)
