About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Translate high-level objectives from Software Product Management and external clients into testable, measurable functional specifications
Research and document functional requirements from multiple sources
Own software product features and manage the full requirement life cycle
Produce and maintain the product backlog
Participate in or drive sprint planning where appropriate
Assist with prioritizing initial feature development and ongoing change requests
Assist Quality Assurance with systematic and ad-hoc test case execution
Log failures for QA follow-up and resolution
Communicate and coordinate with clients, Product Management, Development, UX, QA, Support, and leadership

Requirements

What you’ll need

2+ years’ experience in a Business Analyst role working specifically with enterprise software products
Knowledge of the Software Development and/or Product Development life cycle
Experience in requirements management, including requirements gathering, analysis, and specification documentation
Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and synthesize cross-functional input in a collaborative environment
Database experience required
Service-level API experience required
Agile/SCRUM software development experience is a bonus
Web product design experience is a bonus
Order processing, accounting, ecommerce, web communications, or content management experience is a bonus
