Design and deliver scalable web applications and application programming interfaces (APIs) that enable secure, reliable payment experiences for K-12 clients while supporting long-term product growth and platform performance.
Drive software quality and engineering excellence by building maintainable, well-tested solutions that improve system stability, accelerate delivery and reduce operational risk.
Influence technical decisions and development standards by identifying opportunities for improvement, sharing expertise and helping elevate code quality across the team.
Own the successful delivery of enterprise-ready solutions from concept through production, ensuring business requirements are translated into measurable outcomes for clients and stakeholders.
Strengthen product performance and client satisfaction through proactive troubleshooting, continuous improvement and the resolution of complex technical challenges that impact business success.

Requirements

What you’ll need

5+ years of experience developing Java-based software solutions.
Strong expertise in Spring Boot, RESTful APIs and modern web technologies, including HTML, CSS and JavaScript or TypeScript.
Proven ability to solve complex technical problems, diagnose issues effectively and deliver high-quality solutions that balance business needs with technical excellence.
Experience collaborating within Agile Scrum teams, contributing to shared goals while taking ownership of individual outcomes and deliverables.
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to build productive relationships across engineering, quality assurance and business teams.
It's a bonus if you have experience developing single-page applications using Angular or similar frameworks.
Experience working with MongoDB, Azure Cosmos DB or other NoSQL databases to support scalable application architectures.
Experience writing automated unit tests using the Spock Framework and working extensively with JSON-based integrations.
