About the role
- Prospecting and running presentations to small and mid-sized merchants, restaurateurs, and businesses to close deals within a fast sales cycle
- Explain value proposition and demonstrate Heartland Payments Platform; upsell current clients on other Heartland products and services; maintain regular communication with Core Payments District Manager
- Close sales of business solutions with merchants; set appointments in person via network and referral partnerships; run scheduled appointments; uncover needs; present Heartland solutions
- Training period with District Manager accompanying on initial appointments; train on short-cycle sales process using Atlas and Salesforce; used for lead generation, sales presentations, paperless contract processing
- Attendance at weekly team meetings and weekly one-on-one with leader
- Achieve minimum production requirements, including setting first time appointments to secure quota
- Additional responsibilities as needed
Requirements
- 18 years of age or older
- valid drivers license
- In accordance with state law, a background check will be conducted after a conditional offer of employment
- Completion of mandatory drug screening on or near 60th day of employment
- Live in area relative to job posting location
- Ability to be in the field, a minimum of 75% of the time
- High school diploma/GED
- At least two years of relevant experience
