About the role

  • Manage outside sales, inside sales, channel sales or third party sales teams to drive market penetration and incremental revenue
  • Define and communicate the sales process and sales effectiveness drivers
  • Lead cross-functional collaboration to provide integrated responses to client needs
  • Contribute to strategic marketing and sales plans and define key markets and products
  • Participate in setting commercial development strategies to maximize conversion of sales leads
  • Develop methodologies and processes to support consultative sales and client services teams
  • Generate and deliver financial and technical information for RFPs and RFIs
  • Direct commercial and contractual negotiations and conduct full due diligence through contract stage
  • Design pricing models and package products and services for cross-sell
  • Monitor revenue generation, secure invoicing and revenue recognition
  • Identify, negotiate and secure business partnerships to enhance products and services
  • Provide oversight of sales process including qualification criteria, lead allocation, solution design guidance, pricing approval, and legal/commercial negotiations
  • Maintain accurate pipelines and produce revenue projection and actual reporting for senior management and budgeting
  • Evaluate industry trends and collaborate with Marketing and product teams to create campaigns and coordinate product launches
  • Approve campaign budgets, set target client profiles and metrics, and review campaign results
  • Assist with design and administration of sales incentive programs

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree (related field) required; relevant experience in lieu of a degree may be considered
  • Typically a minimum of 10 years related professional experience including a minimum of 5-6 years experience in a managerial position
  • Master's Degree preferred
  • Prior Global Payments, payment or technology industry experience preferred
  • Experience with Request for Proposal (RFP) and Request for Information (RFI) processes
  • Experience in commercial and contractual negotiations and due diligence
  • Experience designing pricing models for licensing, annual fees, professional services, and value-added services
  • Experience with pipeline management, revenue forecasting and invoicing/revenue recognition
  • Experience developing and directing market penetration campaigns and territory planning
  • Must be legally authorized to work for any employer in the United States on a full-time basis without the need for current or future immigration sponsorship
