About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Prospecting, presenting, and closing sales of Genius® and related Global Payments technology solutions to small and mid-sized merchants across restaurant, retail, and service industries.
- Managing the full sales cycle—from lead generation and outreach to conducting in-person and virtual product demos and finalizing contracts.
- Collaborating closely with your District Manager and receiving ongoing coaching and mentorship from leadership.
- Helping business owners modernize their operations, improve customer experiences, and drive growth through innovative POS and payment technology.
Requirements
What you’ll need- 18 years of age or older
- Valid driver’s license with ability to travel locally up to 75% of the time
- Must reside within the area of the job posting
- High school diploma or GED (college degree preferred)
- Two or more years of B2B, SaaS, or POS sales experience
- Excellent communication, presentation, and networking skills
- Self-motivated, results-driven “hunter” mindset
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage a fast-paced pipeline
- Professional demeanor and integrity when working with clients and teammates
- Enjoys face-to-face relationship building with business owners
- Experience in restaurant and/or retail environments is a plus.
