About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Facilitate and coordinate Agile Scrum processes within the company
- Guide and coach the team on Agile Scrum principles and practices
- Ensure the team works collaboratively and efficiently to deliver high-quality products
- Work with Network Automation Engineers to prioritise the product backlog
- Run the way Platform Teams operate, delivering business value earlier
- Foster communication by creating channels and translating lingo
- Deliver training as part of overall transformation efforts
- Help administer tools including Jira
- Set an example including Agile coaching
- Conduct Daily Scrum meetings
- Guide and develop clear Sprint standards and keep the team engaged
- Responsible for enacting Scrum values and practices
- Provide updates on team performance, remove impediments hindering progress
- Create a team environment by establishing trust and transparency
- Promote a collaborative environment fostering creativity and innovation
- Initiate and maintain positive relationships with IT and internal customers
- Partner for capacity planning and resource allocation in Agile tools
- Shield the team from distractions
- Identify and troubleshoot obstacles hindering team progress
- Promote continuous improvement through retrospectives and feedback sessions
- Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders
- Track KPIs and help teams deliver high-quality products on time
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Minimum of 4 years of experience as a Scrum Master
- 3 years Agile/IT project management experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to lead and facilitate Scrum ceremonies
- General conceptual understanding of computer networking
- Certification in Agile methodologies, like Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master (PSM)
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- Prior knowledge of Agile project management tools, preferably Jira
