About the role

  • monitor and control client operating systems to ensure efficient and continuous performance
  • advise on the technical aspects of information systems and products
  • prepare flow charts, models, and procedures and conduct feasibility studies
  • design, develop, and maintain python-based interactive data applications that solve business problems
  • implement data pipelines and transformations to support application functionality
  • collaborate across teams to translate business requirements into production-ready data applications

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or related field (or equivalent practical experience)
  • Typically 6 years of relevant experience in application development, data engineering, or related roles
  • Demonstrated experience building and deploying web applications used in production environments
  • Strong proficiency in Python with experience building web applications using frameworks such as Streamlit, Flask, Dash, or Gradio
  • Moderate to advanced SQL skills including transformations, window functions, CTEs, and query optimization
  • Hands-on experience working with REST APIs, including authentication, request handling, and third-party integrations
  • Proficiency with Pandas for data processing, aggregations, joins, and transformations
  • Experience with Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, Databricks, or equivalent modern data warehouse platforms
