About the role

  • Participate as DevOps / SRE Engineer handling production incidents, change and release processes
  • Contribute to proactive monitoring, automation and DevOps methodology across the enterprise
  • Develop and maintain installation and configuration procedures and automate deployments
  • Troubleshoot system problems and resolve job failures within SLA
  • Drive compliance, security scans remediation and vulnerability fixes in scope
  • Support application migrations from on-prem to cloud and manage cloud connectivity, secrets and firewalls
  • Maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines for on-prem and cloud-hosted solutions
  • Collaborate with development and production support teams to recommend DevOps tooling and automation

Requirements

  • 3 to 6 years of software development experience
  • Knowledge of SRE and ITIL Processes
  • Experience with Incidents and Change Release handling in Production Environment
  • Must be ready and available to work in shifts and Oncall during weekends
  • Experience with Proactive Monitoring and Automation
  • Experience driving compliance and security efforts related to applications and tools
  • Experience developing and maintaining installation and configuration procedures and automation
  • Practical experience of Incident management, Change Management and Release Process
  • Experience troubleshooting and resolving job failures within SLA
  • Experience with Application/s Migration from On-Prem to Cloud
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Engineering or equivalent certifications
  • Experience with any scripting language (PowerShell, Bash, Perl, Python, Ruby)
  • Proficiency with Terraform
  • Hands on experience with any cloud platform
  • Practical experience on cloud tech stack - K8s (GKE), Cloud Run, Cloud Functions, Platform, Load Balancers and Firewalls
  • Understanding of Microsoft and Red Hat Linux server technologies (Active Directory, DNS, LDAP, IIS, basic administration and troubleshooting)
  • SSL Certificate Management experience
  • Experience with file transfer protocols like FTP, FTPS, SFTP
  • Knowledge of file transmission security and best practices: encryption technology, key exchange, internet private circuit
  • Ability to bridge the gap between Development and Production Support teams
  • Preferred: Working experience and understanding of SRE practices aligned with DevOps CI/CD
  • Preferred: Windows Servers Monitoring and Automation experience
  • Preferred: Security Management & Vulnerability Remediation experience
  • Preferred: Multiple OS management experience (Windows, Linux)
  • Preferred: Experience with Datadog, Jenkins/Octopus, Ansible, post-deployment validation checks, cloud secrets, firewalls, proxies and security
  • Preferred: GCP experience (Cloud Run, Functions, Load Balancers, Firewalls, Workflows, Monitoring and Cost Optimization)
