About the role
- Responsible for prospecting and running Heartland Point of Sale presentations both in person and over the phone to small and mid-sized merchants, restaurateurs, and businesses to ultimately close deals within a fast sales cycle.
Activities include explaining our value proposition and demonstrating our cloud based Point of Sale solution, upselling current clients on other Heartland products and services, and maintaining regular communication with the Point of Sale District Manager.
Work closely with your local District Manager to set appointments with business owners in person via your network and referral partnerships that you build. Run scheduled appointments, uncover needs, and present Heartland Point of Sale solutions to close sales in small to mid-sized businesses.
During training, District Manager will accompany you on initial appointments to train on short-cycle sales process using CRM platforms Atlas and Salesforce for lead generation, sales presentations, on the spot client financial analysis and paperless contract processing.
Maintain CRM records; responsible for achieving production requirements and quotas; continuously build product knowledge; attend weekly team meetings and one-on-ones with leader.
Requirements
- 18 years of age or older
This position requires regular driving to visit client sites, therefore a valid drivers license is necessary
In accordance with state law, a background check will be conducted after a conditional offer of employment
Completion of mandatory drug screening on or near 60th day of employment
Live in area relative to job posting location
Ability to be in the field, a minimum of 75% of the time
High school diploma/GED (preferred)
At least two years of relevant experience (preferred)
