About the role
- Prospecting and running Heartland Point of Sale presentations both in person and over the phone to small and mid-sized merchants, restaurateurs, and businesses to ultimately close deals within a fast sales cycle.
Explain value proposition and demonstrate cloud based Point of Sale solution, upsell current clients on other Heartland products and services, and maintain regular communication with the Point of Sale District Manager.
Set appointments with business owners in person via network and referral partnerships; run scheduled appointments, uncover needs, and present Heartland Point of Sale solutions to close sales.
During training, District Manager will accompany on initial appointments; use CRM platforms Atlas and Salesforce for lead generation, sales presentations, client financial analysis and paperless contract processing.
Maintain CRM records, achieve minimum production requirements and quota, continuously build product knowledge, attend weekly team meetings and 1:1s.
Requirements
- 18 years of age or older
This position requires regular driving to visit client sites, therefore a valid drivers license is necessary
In accordance with state law, a background check will be conducted after a conditional offer of employment
Completion of mandatory drug screening on or near 60th day of employment
Live in area relative to job posting location
Ability to be in the field, a minimum of 75% of the time
High school diploma/GED (Preferred)
At least two years of relevant experience (Preferred)
