About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Understand and articulate the creative vision for a project, aligning it with client objectives
- Develop an understanding of the target audience(s), their needs, and how they interact with the brand across touchpoints
- Meet with clients to discuss their goals for an upcoming marketing campaign, then Developing marketing campaigns that are aligned with client expectations.
- Developing marketing strategies that dictate the core methods of achieving the client’s goals
- Create documentation and write creative briefs that inspire and challenge teams to do their best work
- Partner with cross-functional teams including UX, design, copywriting, and development to bring concepts to life
- Coordinating goals with department heads responsible for enacting a marketing strategy
- Present concepts and rationale to internal and external stakeholders, adjusting as needed based on feedback
- Manage projects from start to finish, ensuring quality standards are met and deadlines are met
- Conduct post-mortem analysis to identify areas of improvement for future projects
- Encourage out-of-the-box thinking and challenge team members to think outside their comfort zones
- Examining market and industry reports and identifying important trends
- Creating strategic plans that outline how to achieve goals within a specific time frame
- Monitoring the progress of marketing media throughout development
- Tracking results of marketing strategies
- Adjusting or ending marketing strategies if results are not meeting expectations
- Strategizing ways to increase sales and brand awareness through marketing efforts such as social media campaigns or targeted advertisements
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and emerging technologies
- Proactively share knowledge and best practices with team members
- Continuously strive to improve processes and procedures
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in advertising, marketing, communications, or related field
- 5+ years professional experience in advertising, marketing, or related field
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful creative campaigns
- Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and with a team to meet deadlines
- Prior Amazon Experience is required
