About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Identify, evaluate, and develop strategic partnerships with ministries, churches, networks, and organizations that can help advance Explore God’s global digital ministry.
  • Lead initial conversations with potential partners to understand their vision, capabilities, needs, ministry context, and potential fit.
  • Work with departmental and organizational leadership to determine whether potential partnerships align with Explore God’s mission, strategy, capacity, theological commitments, and long-term goals.
  • Represent Explore God with clarity, humility, and vision in conversations with ministry leaders, global partners, and cross-cultural stakeholders.
  • Translate partnership opportunities into actionable plans in collaboration with internal teams.
  • Coordinate with the Outreach Team on advertising, content, landing pages, and language expansion needs connected to partner opportunities.
  • Coordinate with the Response/Discipleship Team on online missionary recruitment, onboarding, training, response workflows, and ongoing discipleship needs.
  • Track partnership commitments, next steps, timelines, dependencies, and communication needs to ensure momentum and accountability.
  • Maintain ongoing relationships with strategic partners through regular communication, touchpoints, updates, and ministry review conversations.
  • Serve as a primary relationship manager for assigned partners, ensuring they feel valued, informed, and connected to the broader mission.
  • Monitor the health and effectiveness of partnerships, identifying opportunities to strengthen collaboration, improve processes, and increase ministry impact.
  • Develop scalable partnership processes, documentation, communication rhythms, and tracking systems.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Proven ability to build and steward ministry partnerships across organizations, cultures, and ministry contexts.
  • Strong relational and communication skills, with the ability to cast vision, ask thoughtful questions, listen well, and build trust with ministry leaders and partner organizations.
  • Experience working in global missions, international ministry, cross-cultural nonprofit work, or a related field.
  • Ability to think strategically while managing details, timelines, next steps, and cross-functional coordination.
  • Strong project management skills and ability to move complex partnership opportunities from conversation to execution.
  • Understanding of digital ministry, digital marketing, online discipleship, or online response models.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams, including outreach, response/discipleship, leadership, content, and technology stakeholders.
  • Comfort working in a fully remote environment with partners and team members across time zones.
  • Ability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed.
