About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Performs all systems integration work, system management and configuration, operation, testing, and reset of MACC-TTE virtual and physical environments
Configures and deploys virtual and physical servers, workstations, and small processor-controlled devices
Actively supports information assurance (IA) requirements
Responsible for installing, configuring, upgrading, patching, troubleshooting, and maintaining hardware, software, and server configurations to ensure confidentiality, integrity, and availability
Manages accounts, firewalls, access controls, passwords, account creations, and conducts administration
Provides routine automation, maintains security policies, trains, or offers technical support
Maintains the platform's uptime, performance, resources, and availability
Creates automation scripts using Bash, Python, or Ansible to streamline processes
Builds, configures, and maintains virtual environments

Requirements

What you’ll need

Minimum 7 years as a Cyber Subject Matter Expert (SME) / Architect
Bachelor's Degree in Network Engineering, Cybersecurity, Information Management, or related field
Must meet DoDM 8140.03 IAT II requirements
Proven experience designing and configuring computer networks including routing, switching, firewalls, DNS, active directory, VPNs, VLANs, and SANs utilizing bare-metal as well as virtualized systems
Strong server and system engineering proficiency with Windows enterprise and Linux server operating systems
Deep conceptual and practical knowledge of network vulnerabilities, attack vectors, and rapid mitigation strategies
