Administration

• Provide operational support and maintenance for Esri ArcGIS Enterprise environments, including Esri Portal and ArcGIS Server
• Design and implement solutions for complex technical challenges that affect multiple areas or disciplines
• Support the currently deployed Esri product suite as well as all future releases of Esri product lines
• Upgrade ArcGIS Enterprise systems to the applicable or latest versions
• Perform ArcGIS software patching for systems
• Assist the organization with any ArcGIS software requirements and troubleshoot GIS software issues to ensure full functionality
• Collaborate with various programs to integrate data from other systems of record, supporting customer requirements and advancing GIS initiatives

Network Engineer

• Lead and coordinate Tier I–III network operations engineering personnel to ensure network troubleshooting efforts are effectively built.
• Oversee real-time monitoring of global enterprise networks using DoD-approved tools (e.g., SolarWinds, NetOps, Splunk, ACAS).
• Develop and enforce operational procedures, incident response workflows, and escalation protocols.
• Act as the senior technical point of contact for major outages, network events, or cybersecurity incidents.
• Interface with mission partners, DISA, Joint Forces, and Combatant Commands on network status, issues, and operational impacts.
• Ensure all network changes follow configuration management (CM) and DoD Change Advisory Board (CAB) procedures.
• Prepare and deliver operational briefs, after-action reports (AARs), and executive summaries to senior leadership.
• Develop and coordinate the network operations team that plans and designs secure network solutions to consolidate connectivity services under an enterprise service.
• Design secure wide area connectivity inclusive of underlay, overlay, and COI transport design that supports performance, quality of service, security, and mission requirements.
• Provide secure access solutions leveraging wired and wireless technologies, integrating standards, use cases/scenarios, and developing associated implementation and transition plans.
• Integrate capacity planning and scaling of network and security stack environments into the overall design of solutions.
• Collect, investigate, and identify network optimization strategies and techniques to meet capacity and performance standards.
• Identify legacy service paths (i.e. data flow, firewall rulesets, and ACLs) and develop strategies and designs for the to-be enterprise service capability to meet requirements while balancing security, sustainability, and maintainability.
• Support development of IP addressing schemes across IPv4 and IPv6 networks.
• Work with information assurance teams to ensure compliance to DoD standards to assist with providing accreditation artifacts. Coordinates with Customers, teammates, and users to maintain compliance with all security standards and maintain deployment schedules.
