About the role
- Manage the delivery of enterprise platform capabilities of a Center of Excellence
- Actively seeks ways to improve performance by optimizing agile practices of the Center of Excellence team
- Collaborates across product owners, product managers, and stakeholders to deliver timely and meaningful capabilities that benefit the entire enterprise
- Leads the daily activities of the team and effectively navigates team dynamics
- Escalates and removes roadblocks as needed to support the team’s mission
- Facilitates agile ceremonies such as standup, retros, refinement sessions to effectively manage work across the team
- Actively promotes and engages in the Capability Delivery Domain to improve processes and methodologies
- Engage and collaborate with the Service Delivery Manager community of practice to deliver business value
- Encourage and empower the organization to use COE capabilities
- Facilitates delivery engagements including setting delivery expectations.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, Finance, Management, or related field
- Minimum of 5 years progressive experience in Information Technology, with at least three years in an agile management or mentoring role
- Experience in leading and developing teams using a variety of agile practices
- Demonstrated leadership and management skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication, motivation, and collaboration skills required
- Demonstrated understanding and delivery of business value a must.
