About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design and develop complex software solutions
Lead technical initiatives
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance products and platforms
Evaluate, utilize, and lead the use of AI/ML capabilities to accelerate existing and new product modification/creation
Collaborate with product, QA, and data teams to define requirements and ensure alignment on AI feature behavior
Gather and interpret user requirements into design specifications
Code new features/functionality and software enhancements and/or fixes to production problems
Participate in or conduct structured code reviews/walkthroughs
Provide On-Call support as needed

Requirements

What you’ll need

J2EE application development, including front-end, back-end, and middle-tier components
Experience with multiple design patterns
Experience with third-party middleware tools incorporated into application design
Webservices creation, consumption, and implementation
Extensive knowledge of web and application servers
Coding experience with Spring modules
Required web application development with Struts modules
Web Services experience, top-down and bottom-up implementation with JAXWS
Oracle SQL experience
Required Application Server experience, JBOSS, Deployment Management, etc.
scripting experience (with Shell, Groovy, etc.)
Solid working knowledge of Linux O/S and Shell scripting
Operational understanding of browser-based application infrastructure running in a clustered hardware environment
Working knowledge of a modern welfare eligibility case management system, preferably with hands-on experience with Idaho's Medicaid Eligibility
