About the role
- Oversee clinical operations of the clinic/area and report to the Clinical Director.
- Supervise and provide guidance to BCBAs and RBTs in the delivery of ABA therapy.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide feedback, and support professional development.
- Facilitate regular clinical meetings to review cases, discuss challenges, and share best practices.
- Provide supervision to trainees seeking fieldwork hours and act as Primary Supervisor.
- Ensure clinical services adhere to highest standards of practice and ethical guidelines.
- Review and monitor treatment plans, data collection, and progress reports for consistency and effectiveness.
- Implement and oversee quality assurance procedures and protocols.
- Stay updated with current research and best practices in ABA therapy.
- Identify areas for clinical improvement and collaborate to develop strategies.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives, including training materials and procedures.
- Analyze clinical data and outcomes to inform decision-making and enhance service delivery.
- Maintain a reduced personal caseload to model best practices and provide practical guidance.
- Foster a collaborative work environment and serve as liaison between families and the clinic.
- Assist with recruitment, onboarding, and training of new clinical staff.
- Maintain documentation related to clinical supervision and quality assurance.
- Support scheduling and caseload management to ensure balanced workloads.
- Act as RBT Requirements Coordinator to ensure BACB requirements are upheld.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, or a related field.
- BCBA certification required.
- Additional certifications or training in ABA therapy preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of post-certification experience in ABA therapy.
- Supervisory or leadership experience highly preferred.
- Experience working in a clinical setting with a diverse clientele is a plus.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficient in data analysis and clinical documentation.
- Familiarity with electronic health record systems is desirable.
- Commitment to professional development and continuous learning.
- Ability to work collaboratively and effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Passion for improving the lives of individuals with autism and related disorders.
- Physical ability to walk, occasional run, stand, sit, kneel, stoop, crouch, crawl, twist, reach above head, pull, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds.
