About the role

  • Develop and manage internal technology infrastructures and customer deployments
  • Monitor infrastructure in everyday operations for performance, cost and security
  • Develop and maintain automation tools
  • Maintain parity across development and production environments
  • Manage the organization’s internal accounts, network infrastructure and system access
  • Participate in policy, design and tool selection
  • Participate in company compliance audit related projects, such as SOC2, GDPR and PCI-DSS
  • Discuss architecture design, significance, impact and decisions
  • Produce documentation on code, system design, architecture and solutions
  • Report to a dedicated Engineering Manager; projects are planned, led, and executed by Engineers

Requirements

  • Strong experience in AWS, EKS, Jenkins or similar tools
  • Experience in building and maintaining reliable and highly available systems
  • Experience with cloud networking and internet security, identity and access management, and commonly used automation languages
  • Experience as Automation / DevOps or Infrastructure Engineer
  • Experienced in coding that extends beyond scripting
  • Proficient verbal and technical writing skills
  • Ability to work in Pacific Time zone (team optimized for PT)
