About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support the Agency team in the day-to-day management of performing financing transactions
- Assist with onboarding of new mandates, including collection and review of transaction documentation
- Support with data remediation and data quality activities related to the credit portfolio
- Maintain and update transaction data, records and reporting within the management system
- Support drawdowns, repayments, interest calculations, payment processes and reconciliation activities
- Monitor key contractual dates, conditions precedent and ongoing obligations
- Assist in the preparation of client communications, notices and periodic reports
- Liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders (lenders, borrowers, legal advisors)
- Support portfolio monitoring activities
- Assist senior team members on restructuring or special situation mandates, including: amendments and waivers restructuring of existing facilities coordination across multiple creditor groups
- Contribute to process optimisation and data quality initiatives
Requirements
What you’ll need- University degree in Economics, Finance, Law or related fields
- 0–2 years of experience in financial services, banking, consulting, transaction services or similar environments
- Strong interest in financial transactions and credit markets
- Solid analytical and organisational skills with strong attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
- Proactive and reliable attitude, with a willingness to learn
- Good communication skills
- Fluent in Italian and in English (written and spoken)
- Good Excel skills; familiarity with financial systems or reporting tools is a plus
- Internship or early experience in banking, loan operations, agency, restructuring or advisory
- Basic understanding of loan documentation and financing structures
- Exposure to credit funds or alternative lenders
