About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Responsible for the ongoing management of a portfolio of loan-related transactions
  • Ensuring efficient completion of GLAS’s KYC processes for relevant parties, in conjunction with GLAS’s Due Diligence team
  • Ongoing review of loan and security related transaction documents
  • Covenant monitoring through the collection and analysis of financial statements and information, with immediate distribution and posting of required documentation to the lender group
  • Facilitating deal amendments and handling the collection of lender votes within required timeframes
  • Facilitating obligor accessions
  • Ensuring timely updates of relevant GLAS internal systems and databases
  • Shadowing senior team members on more complex transactions
  • Responding promptly to queries and requests from transaction counterparties, providing exceptional customer service
  • Establishing and maintaining key relationships with clients and other market participants, developing the GLAS reputation in the Asia market
  • Attendance at client meetings and industry conferences to assist with GLAS marketing and sales strategies
  • Adhering to all relevant GLAS policies and procedures
  • Actively participating and engaging in team and company projects
  • Collaborating consultatively with other team members on projects as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High level of professionalism and discretion
  • Highly organised with a “can do” attitude
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and general office software
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills (both oral and written)
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work to tight deadlines
  • Cantonese/Mandarin language skills preferred but not required
  • Educated to at least degree level (ideally in law or finance)
