About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Draft or update policy mappings, procedures, and operational methods in collaboration with operational teams
  • Participate in the preparation of regulatory reporting for the AMF and ACPR, as well as non-regulatory reporting
  • Support the Senior Risk and Compliance Manager by promoting awareness, performing controls, and ensuring the risk management framework is effective and operational, including the Risk & Control Self‑Assessment (RCSA) framework
  • Assist with the collection and consolidation of Key Risk Indicators and risk meeting data points
  • Participate in reviews and follow-ups to ensure incidents are accurately recorded, control gaps are identified, and corrective actions properly remediate the issues
  • Collect and analyze incidents to ensure lessons are learned; monitor agreed action plans and escalate issues to management when necessary
  • Assist in preparing risk presentations and incident case studies
  • Support global risk initiatives, thematic risk reviews, and other remediation/assurance activities that deliver tangible risk reduction/mitigation
  • Develop an understanding of each team’s roles, processes, and key operational risks, including regional nuances
  • Promote a strong risk and control culture and a positive learning environment; contribute to risk awareness training and ensure learnings and best practices are effectively shared
  • Prepare minutes for risk and compliance meetings
  • Monitor upcoming regulations and changes to existing regulations to assess their impact
  • Assist in managing the outsourced internal audit function and in conducting risk audits and spot checks on the business

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Master’s degree (Bac+5) in finance, management, law, audit, or a related discipline
  • 5+ years’ experience in risk management or regulatory roles within asset management or financial markets
  • Strong knowledge of regulations relating to payment institutions (ACPR) and/or asset management (AMF)
  • Practical experience with risk management concepts (RCSA, incident management, risk indicators)
  • Fluency in French and English (high level of professional proficiency in both written and spoken communication)
  • Entrepreneurial, business-focused mindset
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to build and maintain strong, constructive relationships with internal stakeholders
  • Proactive planner and thinker with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to identify issues and escalate appropriately
