About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead core pricing, assortment, and promotional analytics for key accounts and channel archetypes
- Provide fact bases for pricing guidelines at brand, pack, and channel levels
- Build and update price pack architecture (PPA) strategy and guidelines
- Analyze market trends and create reports for key brands and pack sizes
- Analyze product volume, margin, and competitive prices to provide recommendations
- Monitor and consolidate competitor activities
- Measure trade spend efficiency and recommend changes
- Assess non-working trade spend for opportunities and efficiencies
- Monitor execution of pricing, PPA, assortment, promotion, and trade initiatives through reports and scorecards
- Participate in month-end reviews and planning sessions
- Partner with Sales and Marketing to develop customer sell-in stories
- Create training materials, reference documents, and best-practice guidelines
- Lead educational sessions and further integrate the RGM function across the organization
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or Business
- At least 5 years of experience
- Advanced knowledge of Excel, Tableau, and PowerPoint
- Knowledge of NielsenIQ is a plus
- Advanced writing and communication skills
- Ability to interact with and persuade senior individuals
- Ability to participate actively in meetings and group discussions across Marketing, Sales, and Finance
- Ability to perform complicated financial analyses by following detailed instructions
- Ability to determine basic analyses required to support pricing decisions
- Ability to structure problems, collect data, identify issues, and present results
