About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Oversee the preparation, production, packaging, and shipment of blended materials
Ensure products are manufactured safely, efficiently, and in line with customer specifications and company standards
Lead day-to-day manufacturing operations across blending, inspection, packaging, and warehouse areas
Promote a behavior-based safety culture with a focus on creating a zero-risk workplace
Support continuous improvement initiatives using Glanbia Performance System principles
Conduct pre-shift meetings and assign team members to support production needs
Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure orders are completed safely, accurately, and on time
Ensure proper documentation, labeling, packaging controls, and product quality standards are followed
Supervise, coach, train, and develop manufacturing team members while supporting performance, attendance, and engagement
Support food safety programs, including HACCP, allergen control, sanitation, housekeeping, and pest control practices
Foster Glanbia’s culture of Living the Values through a positive, hands-on, 'can do' leadership approach

Requirements

What you’ll need

High School Diploma or GED required; college degree preferred, especially in a technical discipline
Prior manufacturing supervisory experience preferred
Experience leading, training, coaching, and developing employees
Knowledge of food safety, HACCP, sanitation, cGMP, and quality standards
Strong communication, interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Mechanical aptitude and working knowledge of production documentation, weigh-up processes, and computer systems
Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work flexible hours, including overtime and weekends as needed
Bilingual English/Spanish skills are a plus.
