About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Observes employee’s execution of compounding duties to ensure accuracy and adherence to production guidelines
Demonstrates techniques for employees to provide training and direction
Identifies problem areas with team and takes corrective action
Verifies that all safety rules are followed
Ensures all employees compound flavors in accordance with established schedule
Monitors use of ingredients
Updates site metrics on a weekly basis
Fills requisitions, distributes items to production workers
Reports food safety issues to the Production Manager
Holds biweekly meeting with all reports
Monitors production to ensure all orders are produced in time to meet ship dates
Verifies CCP log is filled out correctly
Ensures SQF best practices are followed

Requirements

What you’ll need

Minimum of two years related experience in a production environment and supervising teams of employees; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Minimum of 6+ years of business experience; college education can take the place of work experience
Working knowledge of and experience with food or fortification manufacturing environment is preferred
Strong SAP knowledge preferred
