About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Observes employee’s execution of compounding duties to ensure accuracy and adherence to production guidelines
  • Demonstrates techniques for employees to provide training and direction
  • Identifies problem areas with team and takes corrective action
  • Verifies that all safety rules are followed
  • Ensures all employees compound flavors in accordance with established schedule
  • Monitors use of ingredients
  • Updates site metrics on a weekly basis
  • Fills requisitions, distributes items to production workers
  • Reports food safety issues to the Production Manager
  • Holds biweekly meeting with all reports
  • Monitors production to ensure all orders are produced in time to meet ship dates
  • Verifies CCP log is filled out correctly
  • Ensures SQF best practices are followed

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Minimum of two years related experience in a production environment and supervising teams of employees; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Minimum of 6+ years of business experience; college education can take the place of work experience
  • Working knowledge of and experience with food or fortification manufacturing environment is preferred
  • Strong SAP knowledge preferred
