About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead the production facility in efficient, safe, effective, productive operations.
- Provide leadership to all plant personnel focusing on safety culture, supply chain/planning, and efficient production operations.
- Develop and implement plans to assure product quality meets established standards.
- Ensure food safety processes are followed and support food and product quality processes.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Four-year degree or equivalent with a background in engineering or operations management preferred.
- 10+ years Production managerial experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Deep understanding of manufacturing technology in liquids flavors production, dry powder blending, and spray drying
- ERP/MRP experience, experience in SAP and/or SAGE programs a plus.
- Equipment & automation proficiency – ability to interact with PLC systems, automated batching, and production processes.
- Experience managing a 24/5 or 24/7 production facility
