About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Help lead daily manufacturing operations across liquid and powder production areas.
  • Champion a strong safety culture and support site EHS initiatives.
  • Drive operational performance across quality, productivity, inventory management, and customer service.
  • Develop, coach, and mentor frontline leaders and production teams.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives and customer expectations.
  • Support food safety, quality systems, regulatory compliance, and SOP adherence.
  • Lead and support continuous improvement initiatives focused on efficiency, cost reduction, and operational excellence.
  • Assist with production planning, inventory control, budgeting, and overall plant performance.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 5+ years of manufacturing leadership or production management experience
  • Experience leading teams within a food, beverage, ingredient, flavor, or related manufacturing environment
  • Strong people leadership skills with experience developing and coaching employees
  • Experience driving operational improvements and solving production challenges in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Food Science, Chemistry, Biology, or a related field
  • Experience with liquid processing, dry powder production, spray drying, packaging, flavor manufacturing, or related food processing operations.
  • Knowledge of food safety programs, SQF, quality systems, and regulatory requirements.
  • ERP/MRP experience; SAP or Sage experience is a plus.
  • Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, Six Sigma, or other operational excellence experience.
