About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Prepare plant budgets and forecasts in relation to cost of manufacture
Coordinate with operations team members on headcount requirements, overhead costs, and quality testing costs
Support monthly financial operations close and reporting cycle
Report on monthly site operations KPI's.
Measure performance against targets and provide commentary on variances
Support product costing and set standard costs
Ensure key stakeholders understand drivers of costs
Support inventory management and control functions
Identify and resolve inventory-related issues
Monitor compliance for procedures and internal controls
Support cost savings initiatives
Responsible for capital expenditure project accounting including ROI analysis

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree
Minimum of five years of related experience
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public
Ability to prioritize tasks and handle multiple projects simultaneously and delegate assignments to others
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals
Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form
