About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Responsible for leading all maintenance operations across multi-shift powdered food production lines
  • Ensure equipment reliability and adherence to preventive and predictive maintenance schedules
  • Assemble, motivate and manage a high-performance team
  • Promote a culture of safety, ownership, teamwork, and continuous improvement
  • Develop and implement proactive maintenance strategies and schedules to maximize equipment reliability and OEE
  • Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external contractors
  • Provide technical support for troubleshooting, root cause analysis (RCA), and process optimization to reduce downtime
  • Collaborate closely with Operations to align maintenance activities with production goals
  • Respond to facility issues and emergencies on a 24/7 basis

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field
  • 5+ years of relevant plant leadership experience, including 2+ years of directly supervising teams
  • Strong knowledge of high voltage multi-phase electrical systems troubleshooting
  • Experience in food processing and packaging equipment and processes
  • Experience with HVAC, alarms & surveillance, fire systems, electrical service and distribution systems
  • Working knowledge of GMP’s, OSHA, Electrical Safety, Food Safety (FDA, SQF, NSF), and Building Code regulations
  • Experience with computerized predictive/preventative maintenance program, work order generation/logging and provide trend information
  • Ability to read and understand control logic, P&IDs and other technical material pertinent to automated packaging equipment
