About the role

  • Drive new business growth using a proactive approach—identifying, targeting, and converting high‑value prospects within the East Coast and Midwest bakery and nutrition markets.
  • Develop and expand strategic customer relationships, strengthening Glanbia’s position with both existing and newly acquired accounts.
  • Consistently build a strong sales pipeline through lead generation, networking, industry events, and market research.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service, ensuring customer needs are understood and met through innovative solutions and best‑in‑class products.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (R&D, marketing, operations) to support customer projects, troubleshoot technical issues, and present value‑added solutions—especially within bakery applications.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Food/Nutrition Science or Sales & Marketing with Technical background or equivalent
  • 10 years progressive and proven sales experience, preferably in Premix solutions & specialty proteins or bakery
  • Proficient with MS Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and SAP
  • Domestic travel required for shows and sales meetings (approx. 50%)
