About the role
- Responsible for clearing all Customers’ Deductions
- Set up Promotional codes within the System
- Ensure proper booking of all Trade Accruals month to month
- Create ad-hoc reporting to understand Actuals vs Budget costs
- Interact with Sales and Customers to clarify any deduction in question
- Maintain trade accrual database to facilitate reporting of actual trade spend by customer and SKU
- Administer and enforce deduction management policies
- Detail review of customer deductions for accuracy
- Process Journal Entries for any deduction clearance and prepare trade accruals
- Reporting of Deduction aging and understanding customers’ deductions trends
- Proactively identify trends and assist in implementing processes to continuously improve accuracy and efficiency of deductions
Requirements
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel skills
- Knowledge in SAP and Business Objects is a plus
- Excellent oral and written communications skills
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is a plus
- Ability to quickly change priorities and handle competing priorities
- Must be extremely accurate and detail oriented in performing tasks and cross-checking work
- Strong organizational skills with demonstrated accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to tactfully communicate with customers and sales team to resolve any invalid deductions or disputes
