About the role

  • Accurate, timely preparation and submission of monthly and year-end financial and management accounts and reporting packs to Group and Senior Management
  • Manage and provide support to Accounting & Finance Associate and Financial Analyst (Direct reports) across multiple locations
  • Provide analysis and supporting information to assist management teams in understanding business performance and decision making
  • Ensure that the required accounting control procedures are in place and are effective
  • Manage and review the monthly inventory reconciliations and liaise with relevant BU stakeholders
  • Review of weekly cash forecasts for the business unit, including cash management, AR & AP responsibilities and reporting
  • Pro-actively identify opportunities to develop, enhance and improve controls, systems and processes
  • Responsible for providing information for statutory reporting, external audit and tax compliance
  • Play a leading role in the budget and forecasting cycles for the business with associated reporting and controls

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; minimum of two years’ related experience
  • Preferred: CPA or equivalent certification
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals
  • Ability to build and maintain complex financial models, reports and databases
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public
  • Proficient personal computer skills including electronic mail, record keeping, routine database activity, word processing, spreadsheet, graphics, etc.
