About the role

  • Act as the central finance partner for Marketing and Innovation, providing financial guidance and strategic support.
  • Serve as finance lead for innovation projects, owning volume, pricing, cost, and P&L forecasts as part of value chain evaluations (EU/UK focus).
  • Partner with commercial teams to challenge NPD proposals (volume, costings, pricing) to ensure robust Stage-Gate submissions (EU/UK focus).
  • Lead post-launch analytics to assess innovation success and recommend in-market adjustments.
  • Report new product launch performance monthly for UK & EU and quarterly for Total International, present findings to the International Leadership Team.
  • Collaborate with regional Finance, Project Management, and Global Brand Investment teams to maintain accurate SKU master data (e.g., product groups, innovation type, launch dates).
  • Support portfolio management through analytics on gaps and rationalization opportunities.
  • Consolidate and report brand marketing investment data and insights per International Brand Investment guidelines.
  • Support the Chief Marketing Officer – PN International with brand performance analytics (revenue, CM) for strategic reviews, planning, and ad hoc projects.
  • Assist Global & Central International FP&A teams on projects, including support for CFO, executive teams, investor relations, and Group reporting.
  • Own the preparation and review of Central International Marketing budgets and forecasts, lead reconciliation of regional investment financials, ensure accuracy of submissions, and deliver insightful variance analysis to inform decision-making.

Requirements

  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business (or similar) required.
  • Experience partnering with marketing, innovation, or commercial teams in a fast-paced, consumer-focused environment strongly preferred.
  • Strong relationship-building skills with ability to influence and guide cross-functional teams.
  • Self-starter with an inquisitive mindset and ability to drive improvements in reporting and analysis.
  • Deep understanding of financial implications of innovation and product development.
  • Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly to non-financial audiences.
  • Highly analytical with experience in data analysis and handling large datasets.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Experience with trade spend management systems beneficial.
  • Proficiency in SAP, Business Objects, and SAC reporting tools strongly preferred.
  • Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy.
