About the role
- Assist engineers with process improvement, data collection, and analysis
- Support engineering projects related to manufacturing, quality, or operations
- Create and update engineering documentation, reports, and work instructions
- Participate in root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives
- Assist with time studies, layouts, and workflow optimization
- Support testing, validation, and implementation of engineering solutions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Production, Quality, and Supply Chain
- Follow all safety policies and procedures
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Manufacturing, Mechanical, Industrial, Aerospace, or related field)
- Completed at least one year of engineering coursework
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and basic data analysis
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with CAD software (Siemens NX, SolidWorks, or similar)
- Exposure to Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma concepts
- Prior internship, co-op, or hands-on project experience
- Interest in manufacturing or aerospace environments
