About the role
- Work on Aero Engine components with complete ownership
- Conduct FE calculations and verification of aero-engine components
- Support structural design processes to ensure required quality
- Drive product improvements activities and continuous improvement initiatives
- Generate assigned project deliverables and documents
Requirements
- Masters or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
- 5-7 years’ experience in Stress/Thermal/life analysis through FEM, for aero engine/derivatives parts
- Excellent fundamentals in Solid Mechanics
- Experience in performing structural analysis to verify various product requirements
- Ability to interpret results, applying physics and propose design solutions
- Knowledge of tools such as Simcenter3D, HYPERMESH, ANSYS APDL and Ansys Workbench, for meshing and analysis along with demonstrated capability in using these tools effectively
- Good product knowledge related to aero engines
- Customization and Programming skills, preferably using ANYSYS APDL/Python.
