About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Redefine and further develop the SHUK business area (commercial and personal lines) within the context of property and casualty insurance
- Manage and expand the SHUK business area based on profitability- and growth-oriented KPIs
- Responsible for product development, portfolio management and the strategic advancement of existing product portfolios
- Ensure stable, sustainable customer and broker/intermediary satisfaction
- Restructure and optimize existing portfolios with a focus on profitability, growth and market positioning
- Build, maintain and develop external customer and broker/intermediary relationships as well as internal interfaces
- Lead, develop and motivate assigned employees
- Continuously optimize workflows, processes and structures to increase efficiency
- Drive strategically relevant projects as part of the digital transformation
- Responsible for cost and personnel planning within your area
Requirements
What you’ll need- University degree in economics/business administration with a focus on insurance, or an equivalent qualification
- Several years of professional experience in the non-life SHUK lines (property, liability, accident and motor)
- Several years of leadership experience, ideally also in change and transformation environments
- Strong sales orientation and an excellent understanding of product, portfolio and market mechanics in the insurance business
- Broad knowledge of project management, especially in scaled agile projects
- Enthusiasm for innovation and a passion for developing and digitalizing business models
- Above-average commitment, strong organizational skills and a high execution orientation
- Analytical, conceptual thinking and the ability to develop unconventional solution approaches
- Strong communication skills, entrepreneurial thinking and the ability to bring people along during change processes
