About the role

  • We're looking for a Business Development Manager to help shape unforgettable consumer product fragrances and guide creative success across Spain and Portugal.
  • Develop olfactory strategies tailored to client needs, market dynamics and category trends, and provide clear direction to Perfumery teams.
  • Manage multiple briefs, selecting fragrances that meet defined criteria and customer's needs.
  • Collaborate with the Creative Center and diverse teams to ensure accurate project completion on time and present the work done to the customers.
  • Conduct olfactory evaluations of new market products to identify relevant notes, insights, and opportunities for creative development.
  • Stay ahead of consumer and market trends, collaborate with Marketing to create proactive concepts and client-ready ideas.
  • Collaborate with the Key Account Management team to manage projects and provide support during customer visits.
  • Participate in customer meetings, workshops and presentations to communicate fragrance rationales and support business development.
  • Build, curate and maintain an outstanding fragrance collection that fills portfolio gaps, aligns with market needs and integrates company technologies.

Requirements

  • Advanced degree in Perfumery, Cosmetic Science, Chemistry, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in fragrance evaluation or development within the fragrance industry
  • Demonstrate project management capabilities and solid systems expertise to support the planning and coordination of development projects from concept to completion
  • A commercial mindset with the ability to connect olfactory development to customer needs and business opportunities
  • Knowledge of fragrance products, market categories and important customers in the local region
  • Passion for fragrances, olfaction and creative development
  • Collaborative ability to manage clients and our teams on project briefs and technical discussions
  • Fluent in Spanish and English, proficiency in French is a plus
  • Available to travel for customer meetings, market visits and internal collaborations
