About the role
- Grow Active Beauty business in key customers in Japan – i.e. Shiseido, Kao, Kose, and targeted indie brands, managing both sales and profitability.
- Develop direct relationships within the key customers to make Givaudan the partner of choice.
- Gain understanding of brand strategies and business needs to identify sales opportunities and deliver targeted solutions.
- Give full support to distributor to accelerate business growth, provide comprehensive training and share market insights.
- Develop, communicate and implement strategies for key accounts including sales forecasts, budgets and KPIs; manage opportunity pipeline.
- Provide regular reviews and status reports on project progress and commercialisation.
- Work closely with marketing, sales, quality, regulatory affairs and research teams to answer customer needs effectively and efficiently.
- Develop and deliver customer presentations.
- Manage customer issues/complaints to ensure smooth resolution.
- Monitor customer and competitor activity in target markets and share with global marketing and R&D teams.
Requirements
- 学歴:大学卒以上
- 日本における化粧品成分のアカウントマネジメント経験8年以上(特に化粧品のアクティブ成分が望ましい)
- 技術的理解と、技術的概念を魅力的なストーリーに翻訳する能力(特に皮膚生物学の理解が望ましい)
- ビジネスセンス – ワークプロセスや顧客の意思決定プロセスを理解する能力(問題解決能力)
- プレゼンテーションスキル
- 交渉スキル
- プロジェクトマネジメントスキル
- 語学:日本語ネイティブレベル、英語ビジネスレベル
- Bachelor’s degree
- 10+ years of account management experience in cosmetic ingredients in Japan – especially cosmetic active ingredients preferred
- Technical understanding and ability to translate technical concepts into compelling stories
