Ensure smooth daily operations of the site by managing facility services, maintenance activities, and environmental, health and safety (EHS) compliance
Implement Givaudan's EHS program and ensure legal and regulatory compliance
Lead incident, injury, and complaint investigations; recommend and oversee corrective actions
Conduct risk assessments and propose practical solutions to minimize hazards
Manage EHS metrology, including chemical exposure measurement and noise level monitoring
Oversee hazardous waste management in compliance with regulations
Facilitate toolbox talks and provide EHS training
Support contractor safety management, including risk assessments and permit-to-work processes
Maintain and update emergency procedures; organize drills and ensure emergency materials are available
Assist management and operations teams with internal and external regulatory compliance audits
Organize and participate in regular safety inspections; report and follow up on corrective measures
Ensure follow-up and evaluation of audit findings and preventive actions for effectiveness
Coordinate site EHS committee meetings, track agreed actions, and ensure completion
Oversee maintenance activities and upgrades to equipment, facilities, and systems to minimize disruption to business activities
Manage relationships with suppliers to ensure service delivery, with the support of procurement
Inspect the site, identify equipment/facility issues, and perform or coordinate necessary repairs
Implement an established preventive maintenance program and maintain detailed records to track recurring issues
Calibrate, adjust, and maintain equipment and tools to ensure compliance with specifications
Monitor maintenance supplies inventory, report shortages, and ensure replenishment
Ensure all facility activities meet health and safety standards and quality requirements
Maintain documentation and reporting of incidents, issues, and repairs to the Site Services Manager
Requirements
Degree in Science, Engineering, or an EHS-related field
Relevant national EHS qualifications or certifications
Minimum 5 years' experience in facility and EHS management within the chemical or pharmaceutical industry
Proven track record in maintenance, safety compliance, and regulatory adherence
Fluent in French; excellent command of English
Proficient in MS Office and facility/EHS management systems
Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and to propose practical solutions
