About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Guide the strategy and execution of integrated regional marketing programs to increase pipeline growth across EMEA
  • Build regional field marketing strategies and integrated campaigns aligned with territory priorities
  • Deliver third-party and GitLab-owned events alongside digital programs for customers and prospects
  • Manage EMEA regional marketing initiatives, detailed program plans, and integrated campaigns supporting Sales and Ecosystem goals
  • Test, learn from, and improve programs to define best practices and evolve regional marketing
  • Analyze performance and communicate program impact to local leadership and executive stakeholders
  • Manage regional marketing budgets and financial processes to improve return on investment
  • Coordinate demand generation and field marketing plans with Sales, Product, Marketing, and other cross-functional teams
  • Work with external agencies and third-party partners to plan and deliver campaigns and events across EMEA
  • Improve Regional Marketing processes and travel as needed, up to 50%

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Experience in B2B technology marketing, focused on field or regional marketing and close Sales collaboration
  • Ability to create and execute marketing programs combining strategic planning with operational detail
  • Creative thinking and ability to build new programs from the ground up
  • Data-driven approach using results and performance insights to guide decisions and strategy
  • Experience owning or supporting territory budgets, allocating resources, and managing spend
  • Strong organizational and communication skills; ability to turn complex ideas into clear content, presentations, and stakeholder updates
  • Ability to work in a fast-moving, multi-stakeholder environment with minimal supervision
  • Proficiency with Salesforce, Slack, and Google Workspace
  • Familiarity with marketing automation, reporting, and project management tools
  • Understanding of Agile, DevOps, or the software development lifecycle
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 50% as needed
