About the role
- Work with a great team of designers on one of the foundational parts of our product.
- Own the non-developer adoption strategy by designing experiences that reduce cognitive load for product managers, project managers, and executives.
- Lead cross-stage initiatives that leverage GitLab’s integrated platform advantage.
- Execute against measurable outcomes, including CSAT improvements, Plan adoption increases, and revenue growth.
- Identifying and creating opportunities of growth for your designers.
- Drive systematic UX debt resolution across Work Items, boards, filtering, and collaboration features.
- Helping your team with understanding and implementing UX processes.
Requirements
- Proven success managing design teams working on enterprise planning tools that compete with Jira, Asana, Monday.com, or similar platforms
- Great feedback skills.
- Solid visual design sensibility with an understanding of design principles and accessibility
- Passion and excitement for the Project Management and Product Planning space.
- You meet the eligibility criteria for internal applicants
