Product Designer

• Design and develop high-quality educational content, including instructor-led and digital courses, presentations, hands-on labs, and assessments that meet defined learning outcomes
• Use your instructional design expertise to review courses, recommend improvements, and help enhance our learning offerings
• Apply instructional design methodologies and adult learning principles to create compelling, effective training solutions
• Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs), curriculum developers, and cross-functional teams (e.g., Sales, Engineering, Support, and Professional Services) to ensure content aligns with product updates and business goals
• Partner with other team members to design, plan, develop, analyze, and maintain engaging learning experiences that support self-paced, virtual delivery formats
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of technical systems, tools, and environments that support scalable and consistent training programs
• Assist in the development of certification and accreditation exam content, including item writing and scoring rubrics criteria
• Continuously improve and iterate on content based on learner feedback, new product features, and evolving best practices
• Stay informed on GitLab's latest features and ensure content remains accurate and up to date
