About the role

  • Lead a team of Customer Success Engineers managing a pooled book of business across EMEA to drive product adoption and value realization
  • Develop scalable technical enablement strategies and repeatable frameworks to remove adoption barriers
  • Build and implement programs with metrics to measure effectiveness and maximize team impact
  • Partner with Sales and Renewals to align technical enablement with commercial objectives to mitigate contraction and enable expansion
  • Advocate voice of the customer by translating field insights into product and cross-functional priorities

Requirements

  • Deep understanding of DevSecOps practices and ability to translate technical concepts into business value
  • Experience developing scalable enablement strategies and driving technical adoption at scale
  • Software development background and comprehensive knowledge of GitLab use cases across SCM, CI/CD, DevSecOps, and Agile Planning
  • Experience designing and implementing scalable customer success programs using data-driven approaches
  • Proven leadership mentoring technical teams and working with distributed teams across EMEA
  • Strong stakeholder management, communication skills, and ability to influence without direct authority
  • Focus on measurable outcomes: customer adoption rates, technical value realization, customer satisfaction, and retention/expansion metrics
