About the role

Create and improve courses for customers, partners, and community worldwide
Accelerate adoption of GitLab by enabling customers and partners to demonstrate expertise and advance careers
Build relationships and collaborate with SMEs, instructional designers, curriculum developers, and other teams
Produce high-quality learning materials: instructor-led courses, digital training, hands-on labs, presentations, and assessments
Review course materials created by other developers providing design feedback
Collaborate to plan, create, analyze, and update courses, exercises, and assessments for various delivery formats
Apply modern instructional design techniques and adult learning theory
Continually iterate and improve content portfolio
Contribute to accreditation/certification exam questions and stay up to date with GitLab feature releases

3+ years of experience in enterprise customer-facing roles such as curriculum developer, technical trainer and consulting engineer (preferably in a subscription environment)
Knowledge of the software development life cycle, DevOps and cloud native technologies (kubernetes, containers, and microservices)
Experience with creating instructor-led training courses
Experience with e-learning tools such as Articulate/Rise, Captivate, Camtasia
Excellent communication & collaboration skills
