About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Act as the primary HR point of contact for Tiko Portugal, providing professional guidance on local team structures, workforce planning, and performance management.
  • Assist people leaders in navigating sensitive employee issues, conflict resolution, and the deployment of performance management frameworks.
  • Drive clear understanding and adoption of internal HR policies, guiding teams through process transitions with confidence and clarity.
  • Deliver a comprehensive, welcoming onboarding experience for new hires and manage structured exit processes, including local HR asset recovery logistics (such as equipment collections).
  • Provide robust local payroll support and maintain high data integrity by keeping our HRIS (BambooHR) accurately updated.
  • Execute all operational duties with absolute rigor and exceptional judgment, ensuring strict confidentiality and full compliance with local data protection regulations (GDPR/RGPD).
  • Partner with managers and supervisors to implement local culture and engagement initiatives that foster long-term team cohesion.
  • Own the end-to-end coordination of local team events, including managing the associated internal travel logistics.
  • Jump into wider global People team initiatives, running or supporting ad-hoc projects as needed to help out colleagues.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
  • 3–5 years of progressive HR experience, including 1–2 years dedicated to coaching and guiding managers through the employee lifecycle.
  • Solid background in core HR operations (payroll support, onboarding/offboarding, local compliance) within product-led tech companies.
  • Hands-on experience with modern HRIS platforms (familiarity with BambooHR is a distinct advantage).
  • Professional fluency in both English and Portuguese.
