About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • The Part-Time Program Coordinator serves as a primary Troop Leader for assigned groups and supports local membership recruitment efforts as needed.
  • Recruit girls and adult volunteers, support programming and assist with administrative office work while supporting grant funded volunteer led troops.
  • This role helps build lead generation through engaging community events and parent outreach.
  • Ensure all participating girls complete registration with GSUSA and collect necessary program documentation.
  • Manage Product Program (Cookies) for all girls in assigned troops as individual sellers.
  • In collaboration with Community Managers and volunteers, create and implement recruitment events for girls and adults such as parent meetings and community events during recruitment seasons.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Apply your coursework or experience in youth development.
  • Pride in achieving personal and team goals
  • Ability to perform work exerting up to 50 lbs. of force occasionally, and/or 20 lbs. of force frequently and 10 lbs. of force constantly to move objects.
  • Motivated by the Girl Scout mission
  • Confidence and proficiency using Microsoft Office products
  • Engaging communication style, verbal and written.
  • Reliable transportation along with documentation of required automobile insurance and safe driving record.
